Welcome back
28 January 2021
Following the disruptions experienced by students, teachers and families last year, 2021 has begun with a renewed sense of optimism.
Catholic schools around °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Êapp are opening their doors to begin a new year of learning. It’s a particularly exciting time for the newest school in the Archdiocese of °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Êapp. St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, Werribee, has been completed to serve the educational needs of families in °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Êapp’s growing western region.
An upcoming highlight of Term 1 is Catholic Education Week. Events during the week include the Mass of St Patrick for Schools, Creative Arts Exhibition, Young Speakers Colloquium, Concert in the Park and a special welcome event for our newest teachers. Details about how schools can participate in events will be announced closer to the date in line with COVIDSafe protocols. Term 1 also marks the beginning of a year celebrating in Australia. ‘Faith in the future’ is the theme for the year-long celebration.
