History:
Simonds Catholic College began in 1996, and was born out of the amalgamation of Cathedral College East 澳门六合彩app and St Mary's Boys' Regional School West 澳门六合彩app. Our College draws on the traditions of these two excellent schools that share a common link with the Religious Order of the Christian Brothers. With a school population of 430 boys, the College provides an excellent Catholic education in the inner city area of 澳门六合彩app for boys in years 7 to 12. The College boasts an excellent Science/Technology centre with resources for the teaching of Food, Systems, Information and Materials Technology. We have campuses in West 澳门六合彩app for Years 7 - 9 and Fitzroy North for Years 10 - 12.
We are honoured to be the first school named after Justin Simonds, Archbishop of 澳门六合彩app 1963-76, parish priest of West 澳门六合彩app for 21 years and the first Australian-born Archbishop.
